Join the Mindfulness Taster class to understand what mindfulness is, where it comes from, its effectiveness for a wide range of emotional and physical conditions and to experience it directly through practice led by an experienced teacher.
Who is it for?
This mindfulness class will benefit men and women that would like to help manage anxiety, stress, depression, or emotional or physical pain. It is also suitable for you if you want to take time out to develop greater self-awareness or be more in touch with your thoughts, feelings and emotions.
What happens in the Taster Class?
The teacher will lead 2 or 3 gentle mindful meditations and will talk about the background to mindfulness and how it can benefit you and other participants.
The class will help you to achieve a calm and relaxed state, while learning how to be fully alert and aware in the present moment.
The teacher will allow time for participants to ask questions.
Who is the Teacher?
Classes and courses are led by Tony O’Shea-Poon, an experiened coach, facilitator and practitioner of Mindfulness. Tony is trained to deliver the nationally recognised Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy courses and is licensed by Mindfulness Now which is accredited by the British Psychological Society.
How much time does it take?
The Mindfulness Taster class is scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
There is no additional time requirement.

£15 for each class (an early bird booking discount may be available).

All classes and courses are held at The Quaker Centre, Downhead Park, Milton Keynes, MK15 9BH.
