Following a very popular retreat day in 2020, Tony is pleased to announce another special Gift Retreat Day in 2021.
This will be a special day for everyone, supporting you to completely unwind and deeply relax your body and mind.
We will enjoy beautiful meditations together that include Deep Relaxation, Loving Kindness, Mindful Movement and Vipassana (insight). We will also enjoy mindful eating and walking and moments of stillness together.
Arrival is from 10:30am and we finish no later than 4pm.
The attendance fee is just £35 for the entire day and light refreshments will be provided.
You may bring your own yoga mat or borrow one of those provided.
The event is suitable for those who are relatively new to the practice of mindfulness and those with more experience.

If we take the word literally, ‘retreat’ may suggest that we are withdrawing from, or escaping from the world, retreating from our difficulties and troubles. That would seem to be at odds with the idea of mindfulness, which often involves being with, or getting closer to, our difficulties.
However, we also need to take care of ourselves, nurture ourselves and rejuvenate our bodies and minds, so that we can be more resilient in those difficult times.
It’s with that idea in mind that we take this day out of our busy lives to do absolutely nothing…well, nothing except connect to ourselves and those that we share this wonderful practice with. It is a rare opportunity to have some extended practice of human ‘being’, rather than our usual mode of human ‘doing’.
Today is not an intellectual exercise – it is an experience of being present. But that doesn’t mean we won’t learn anything. Every time we practice, new insights can arise about ourselves and our relationships with others and with the Earth – if we simply find stillness, and listen.
