Bringing awareness, listening and skillful questioning together, mindful coaching provides personal one-to-one support for individuals with a wide range of needs and challenges.
Who is it for?
Mindfulness Coaching is suitable for anyone that is experiencing stress, anxiety, depression or is feeling stuck or uncertain about their present situation or the future. It can help clients to identify positive changes in any aspect of their life, and to take action to bring about those changes. It can also help clients to come to terms with changes that have happened to them and to reach acceptance.
What happens in Mindfulness Coaching?
The first session of coaching is used to establish how the client and teacher will work together and to agree the coaching objectives. Most clients will have 5 further sessions to work towards these objectives over a period of 2 to 3 months.
The client can bring a range of issues for discussion and the teacher will ask powerful questions to help the client to identify goals, take action and move forward.
The teacher will also provide instruction on mindfulness techniques to increase focus and awareness, which may include breathing, movement, meditation and visualisation.
The client will receive mindfulness recordings and activities to practice at home in between sessions.
How much time does it take?
All sessions with the teacher are for 1 hour.
Daily practice of at least 15 minutes between sessions is recommended.
How much does it cost?
£50 for the first session or any single session
£200 for 5 sessions booked together (a saving of £50)
Where is it held?
All coaching takes place at my home in Broughton, Milton Keynes.
For clients that live further away, coaching can also take place over Skype which is just as effective.
